What's Your Secret Sauce?

1. I'm analytical and capable of looking into the details and perspectives surrounding an issue before sharing my thoughts.

2. I know how to talk to adults and associates in a professional setting and I enjoy doing it.

3. I consider myself to be creative, and I can apply my creativity in many different areas such as writing, music, and art. 

4. I am adaptable and comfortable in many different circles. I also enjoy many different kinds of activities and entertainment.

5. I am empathetic, which helps me understand and help people in situations unlike mine.

I think the people who know me best have come to understand me more based on how I interact with others, and I understand myself by reflecting on my actual internal thoughts and feelings. I think they were pretty correct, but some of their perceptions were a little different than how I see myself. For example, my sister said that I am outgoing, but I know I'm more outgoing around my family than I am when I'm alone. This feedback from the people I care about was really reassuring actually, because the traits they affirmed in me, like kindness and positivity, are traits that I try to have. I think my friends and family noticed my empathetic side more than I had, which I think is correct because empathy is a trait that is used frequently in interactions with people, and they see my empathy for others when I share stories with them. I would probably elaborate more on empathy and being outgoing in my list if I could change it.
